Hey everyone - I don't write very good German...sorry! I am an American living in the Wiesbaden area. I was recently diagnosed with Morbus Crohn's plus I already have another autoimmune disease. LDN is proving to be very effective for this disease. Can anybody give me the names of some docs that will help me with LDN> Do most of you buy your Nemexin without a recept on-line or do you get a 'legal' recept from your doc>

Thanks Robin

Hi Robin,

» I don't write very good German...sorry!

... no problem ... I hope my english will be good enough ... at least to answer your questions ;-) ...

... it is supposed to be ... I myself do not have any experiences with Morbus Crohn (and I am not really keen to get those ) ... I have enough trouble with my MS :-( ...

... I myself (and my wife) are geting a ´legal´recept from our GP ... LD (low dose)N itself is not a drug, the drugs name is NALTREXONE ... the NALTREXONE is supplied by our pharmacist who selects the cheapest NALTREXONE, he can get ... it is not only NEMEXIN, but also NALTIMA (india), NALOREX (france) and a lot of other pharmaceutical companies producing NALTREXONE (naltrexonhydrochlorid) ...

According to some LDN sites around the world you have to pay attention on the kind of filler that is used ...

Tom, thanks for the info. I can understand why you wouldn't want crohn's. I guess I just got lucky...:-|

You get a recept from your GP. Is this because you have MS. Or is it fairly easy to get naltrexone (by any name) from a GP. Can my GP only give me naltrexone if I have MS> My GP is fairly open but I'm worried more about BKK.

Do you ge low dose or do you make it yourself from 50 mg naltrexone>

By the way, your English was really good...thanks.

Hi Robin,

» You get a recept from your GP. Is this because you have MS.

... no, I don´t think so ... my GP is rather open-minded, but it took me some effort (and time) to "convince" him to prescribe LDN ( :-( ) ... my first batch of naltrexone came from Australia and India thru England ... afterwards he "decided" to prescribe Naltrexone (!!!) ...

» Or is it
» fairly easy to get naltrexone (by any name) from a GP.

... yes, I do think so ... the only restriction is, that the GP only gives me a "private" recipe ... that means that I have to pay for the medication and it may not be covered by assurances (in fact it is NOT) ..

» Can my GP only
» give me naltrexone if I have MS> My GP is fairly open but I'm worried

»

... no, there ist no restriction to prescribe naltrexone only for MS ... I believe, it is your duty to convince him to prescribe nalteexone or crohns ... I am sure, you will find a lot of info material on LDN with crohns ... if you can´t find anything, look or ask Linda from LDNReseracTrust in England (LDN Research Trust ....

» Do you ge low dose or do you make it yourself from 50 mg naltrexone>

... we (my wife and me) are using "self-made LDN", that is diluted from naltrexone pills (50mg) in normal water ...

My doctor wasn't helpful. Neither was Mainz Uni they don't even know about LDN. I have a few options: 1.drive to a doctor in Holland - this takes extra time and money or 2. I found a few places on line that will ship. Two of them will ship me generic Revia, do you think this would be OK> A third online pharmacy makes me question their business - is it a real online shop or a scam.

... it is a shame that Mainz Uni does even not know about LDN/Naltrexone ... and that your doctor wasn´t helpful: maybe you should try abother one (>) ...
what do you expect from a doctor in Holland what you could not get here in Germany without travelling around (>) ... Naltrexone is available in Germany with the same restricions as in Holland (at least as far as I know ) ...

Revia is completely OK ... naltrexone is an "old" medication, which is out of patent ... you can buy a lot of generice around the world (Nalorex(France, Naltime/ India etc) ... that might be the reason why there is no chance of getting it into medical testing for MS or any other disease ...

All medications are Ok with "Naltrexonhydrochlorid" as funtional part ...

The questions of the 3rd pharmacy might be a real shop ... but if you don´t trust them, why consider to buy from them (>>) ... I think there are heaps of pharmacies in the internet ... and one is as good as the other ... only the price and conditions of delivery are imprtant ...
